The Consumer Protection Division of the State Attorney General’s Office offers information ranging from credit reports to identity theft to consumer alerts. Their toll-free consumer hotline number is 800-368-8808.

The West Virginia State Auditor's Office publishes a newsletter entitled "Seniors Against Investment Fraud."  SAIF representatives from that office are available to present fraud prevention seminars at group meetings and other events.
